03.24.2015 New Testament: Luke 4.16
To read the Bible in a year, read Luke 4.1–32 on March 24, In the year of our Lord 2015

Do not ever downplay the public reading of Scripture. He who reads Scripture in the worship assembly has God speaking to the congregation. Jesus saw the importance of it,
So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read (Luke 4.16).
Jesus wanted to be with His brethren on the day of Jewish worship. While there He wanted to read the Scriptures. If only the people there had known that day who had stood up to read, but the Author of Scripture Himself!
Whether you read the Scripture or listen to it, keep in mind that God through the Holy Spirit and through the written word speaks to the congregation and to you.
