When the people will rejoice in the church

Luke Bible Background

04.11.2015 New Testament: Luke 13.17

To read the Bible in a year, read Luke 13.1–21 on April 11, In the year of our Lord 2015

Jesus filled His ministry with good works, and He refuted those who criticized His good works. Two results came from His works and words,

And when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him (Luke 13.17).

Jesus shamed His enemies, but the people of the community loved what He did. Likewise, let the church fill its ministry with good works, and when our enemies criticize us, let us refute them, and watch the church grow.
