Yes, we know that the Bible shows us rich righteous people, but we still need to know the dangers of wealth. Listen to our Lord,

And when Jesus saw that he became very sorrowful, He said, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God! For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God” (Luke 18.24–25). 

Riches are fine, but not if they keep us from heaven! And riches have that potential. We get to liking what we have, and we trust in our riches rather than the One who gave us the riches!
