Jesus talked with a learned man of Israel on being born again, but the man did not understand how a man could be reborn. Jesus responded in part,

“If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?” (John 3.12). 

The man wanted to understand heavenly things, but he did not even believe the earthly things of which Jesus spoke. Understanding and believing earthly things leads to understand and believing heavenly things. Look at the Earth in this way, and watch your spiritual understanding increase.
