05.29.2015 New Testament: John 11.36
To read the Bible in a year, read John 11.18–46 on May 29, In the year of our Lord 2015
By Don Ruhl
As Jesus approached the tomb of Lazarus, the Lord saw the emotional pain that everyone experienced, and He groaned audibly in His spirit. Then He let the emotion come out visually, weeping over the grief of all His friends.
Then the Jews said, “See how He loved him!” (John 11.36).
His love was obvious. They knew it was not fake. He was a tough carpenter, but the grief of His friends broke His heart.
