To read the Bible in a year, read Second Chronicles 1–3 on May 31, In the year of our Lord 2015

David made all the preparations, and Solomon had spoken with the Lord. It was time to build,
Then Solomon determined to build a temple for the name of the Lord, and a royal house for himself. Solomon selected seventy thousand men to bear burdens, eighty thousand to quarry stone in the mountains, and three thousand six hundred to oversee them (2 Chronicles 2.1–2).
The Bible notes that Solomon determined to build a house for the name of the Lord, and then the Bible says that Solomon built a house for himself. Both of these were huge projects, as you can see from the amount of workers employed.
Seek the Lord first, and you will be a blessing to others; perhaps not in the same way as Solomon, providing employment for many people, but somehow, you shall be a blessing.
