Talk is good. The Lord talks to us through His word. Therefore, we cannot do without talking. However, let us not fool ourselves, because we certainly cannot fool Him; talking is not enough. We have to show what we think of and feel toward the Lord,

“If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14.15). 

I have heard some preachers say that keeping the commandments of the Lord is legalism. Yet, I read the words of Jesus above, and He appeared to have a different opinion, and sorry (No, I’m not sorry), His opinion counts. He says that if we love Him, we need to keep His commandments. If someone tells you otherwise, he does not belong to the Lord and the Lord did not send him.
