Joseph of Arimathea studied Jesus, but in secret because Joseph feared the Jews. Then something happened that turned him into a bold follower of Jesus,
After this, Joseph of Arimathea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly, for fear of the Jews, asked Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus; and Pilate gave him permission. So he came and took the body of Jesus (John 19.38).
Seeing the crucifixion of Jesus changed Joseph, so much so that he approached the Roman governor, and asked for the body of Jesus.
Think on the crucifixion of Jesus as much as you can, and see how it changes you.
