06.13.2015 New Testament: John 20.14–16
To read the Bible in a year, read John 20 on June 13, In the year of our Lord 2015

Mary Magdalene went to the tomb of Jesus to finish preparing His body for His burial, but something happened that tore her heart up. The body was gone. She believed that someone had stolen the body of Jesus. Therefore, she grieved heavily, weeping, filling her eyes with tears, and not expecting to see the Lord, this happened,
Now when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, “Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away.” Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to Him, “Rabboni!” (which is to say, Teacher) (John 20.14–16).
She knew the sound of that voice, and knew that Jesus was alive. What kind of joy would that have brought into your heart? You can imagine the way she felt. And you something, the world has never been the same since.
