The Jewish leaders re-arrested the apostles, and questioned them, saying that they had commanded the apostles not to teach in the name of Jesus. However, informs us,

Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men” (Acts 5.29). 

We obey man whenever we can, but if man tells us not to obey God, then we ignore man and obey God.
