The treasurer of Ethiopia learned that Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled Isaiah 53, and the treasurer also discovered something about baptism. Then after his teacher baptized him, the Bible says,

Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing (Acts 8.39). 

The Ethiopian treasurer had learned the truth of Scripture and had been immersed in water, and he was then in Christ. Friends, that is more reason to rejoice than anything else we do or experience on Earth! Are you saved from your sins? Are you in Christ? If so, rejoice with all your might.
