07.24.2015 Old Testament: Psa 42.4–5
To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 41–43 on July 24, In the year of our Lord 2015
By Don Ruhl
People challenge the church, asking us where our God is, especially during times of suffering. What can we say to them? Whether we even can say anything to them that they will accept, I know that we can speak to God Himself,
When I remember these things,
I pour out my soul within me.
For I used to go with the multitude;
I went with them to the house of God,
With the voice of joy and praise,
With a multitude that kept a pilgrim feast.
Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him
For the help of His countenance.
(Psalm 42.4–5)
Right now atheism has renewed its attack against the existence of God. Speak to Him about what the atheists are doing, and seek God’s guidance.
