07.26.2015 Old Testament: Psa 48.9–11
To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 47–49 on July 26, In the year of our Lord 2015
By Don Ruhl
If our God is great and greatly to be praised, then we should think about Him. We should think of the kind of God He is. The psalmist did it,
We have thought, O God, on Your lovingkindness,
In the midst of Your temple.
According to Your name, O God,
So is Your praise to the ends of the earth;
Your right hand is full of righteousness.
Let Mount Zion rejoice,
Let the daughters of Judah be glad,
Because of Your judgments.
(Psalm 48.9–11)
Do what the psalmist did. Think on God’s lovingkindness, His righteousness, and His judgments. See what it does to your soul.
