07.28.2015 Old Testament: Psa 54.6–7
To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 53–55 on July 28, In the year of our Lord 2015
By Don Ruhl
Numberless are the reasons we should praise the Lord, and among that number would be this,
I will freely sacrifice to You;
I will praise Your name, O Lord, for it is good.
For He has delivered me out of all trouble;
And my eye has seen its desire upon my enemies.
(Psalm 54.6–7)
The psalmist would not hold back his sacrifice and praise of the Lord, because the Lord had delivered the psalmist out of all his troubles, even from the hand of his enemies.
You have survived to the present hour, because the Lord has delivered you out of trouble. Praise the Lord for it.
