08.18.2015 New Testament: Rom 16.22
To read the Bible in a year, read Romans 16 on August 18, In the year of our Lord 2015
By Don Ruhl
Romans 16 shows that everyone counts in the church, including the man who took dictation from Paul to write the Roman Letter,
I, Tertius, who wrote this epistle, greet you in the Lord (Romans 16.22).
This brother wanted to say something to his beloved brethren in Rome. Yes, he worked for Paul, but Tertius had love in his heart for the saints in Rome, and he wanted to insert into the letter his personal greeting. Obviously Paul had no problem with it, and the Holy Spirit wanted it preserved in this magnificent letter from the apostle to the Gentiles, because everyone counts in the church.
