The Lord loves His people, why then do we read of the following?

Precious in the sight of the Lord
Is the death of His saints.
(Psalm 116.15) 

Often we read in the Scriptures of the Lord ordering the deaths of the wicked, but prolonging the lives of the righteous. Nevertheless, we all must die, including the saints of the Lord. What happens when a saint dies? He or she goes to be with the Lord. Is that a bad thing? No, it is a good thing, for then the saint is in the presence of the Lord and that is what He wants.
