08.23.2015 Old Testament: Psa 119.121–128
To read the Bible in a year, read Psalm 119.105–176 on August 23, In the year of our Lord 2015
By Don Ruhl
The Lord loves us. Therefore, He wants us to know of our limitations, and that He is unlimited, and if we follow Him, we can improve our lives drastically,
I have done justice and righteousness;
Do not leave me to my oppressors.
Be surety for Your servant for good;
Do not let the proud oppress me.
My eyes fail from seeking Your salvation
And Your righteous word.
Deal with Your servant according to Your mercy,
And teach me Your statutes.
I am Your servant;
Give me understanding,
That I may know Your testimonies.
It is time for You to act, O Lord,
For they have regarded Your law as void.
Therefore I love Your commandments
More than gold, yes, than fine gold!
Therefore all Your precepts concerning all things
I consider to be right;
I hate every false way.
(Psalm 119.121–128)
Follow the Lord and He will help you along. You will have enemies, but they will have to face the Lord. Therefore, love the Lord and love whatever He has said in the Scriptures.
