If you want others to be open to you, what should you do? Paul reminded the Corinthian Christians that he and his preaching team had been open to them. Therefore, he said,

Now in return for the same (I speak as to children), you also be open (2 Corinthians 6.13). 

Isn’t that an application of the Golden Rule, even as you wish for others to treat you, so you treat them?
