Yes, Jesus lived as a carpenter, yet, take a peek at His true glory, for it far exceeds anything that we could have imagined,

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist (Colossians 1.16–17). 

He created everything, whether you can see it or not. All forms of authority exist because He wills that they exist. All things:

Were created through Him
Were created for Him
Come after Him
Consist in Him
