Hope for redemption even before the loss happens

The Lord of the Bible shows that He is the one and only God by first revealing that Israel would experience captivity, but then even before experiencing the captivity, He revealed that He would redeem Israel, bringing them back to their land,

Go forth from Babylon!
Flee from the Chaldeans!
With a voice of singing,
Declare, proclaim this,
Utter it to the end of the earth;
Say, “The Lord has redeemed
His servant Jacob!”
And they did not thirst
When He led them through the deserts;
He caused the waters to flow from the rock for them;
He also split the rock, and the waters gushed out.
(Isaiah 48.20–21)

The Lord can bring powerful enemies against His people because of their sins, but then He can just as easily bring back His people, even providing for them along the way that He might keep His promise.
