Do you listen to the Lord? Do you seek Him daily? Are you aware of your spiritual heritage in Abraham and Sarah? If these things picture you, hear the word of the Lord,

For the Lord will comfort Zion,
He will comfort all her waste places;
He will make her wilderness like Eden,
And her desert like the garden of the Lord;
Joy and gladness will be found in it,
Thanksgiving and the voice of melody.
(Isaiah 51.3) 

From a wasted place to a place like Eden! From a desert to the garden of the Lord. That is what the Lord does for His people when they listen to Him, seek Him, and know of their spiritual heritage in Abraham and Sarah (verses 1–2).

If you want joy and gladness, thanksgiving and melody to fill your life, make the Lord your top priority everyday.
