Three friends, Paul, Silvanus (Silas), and Timothy had one goal for the church, evident in their greeting to the church at Thessalonica,

Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ (2 Thessalonians 1.1–2). 

The three friends brought grace and peace from the Father and the Son. Everything those men did, they did for the grace of God and the peace of the Lord Jesus. How do you function in the church?
