Does your country need help? Do you think you have no power to help it? Listen, my friends, you have more power available to you than any politician could ever imagine,

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence (1 Timothy 2.1–2). 

If the Holy Spirit tells you to pray for the leaders of your nation, do it! For if you do, the Lord can work a quiet and peaceable life in your nation, if you seek godliness and reverence.
