10.26.2015 New Testament: 1Ti 6.15–16
To read the Bible in a year, read First Timothy 6 on October 26, In the year of our Lord 2015
By Don Ruhl
After referencing the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, Paul referred to the exalted status of the Lord Jesus,
…He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen (1 Timothy 6.15–16).
- Jesus is the blessed and only Potentate, making Him the King of kings and the Lord of lords.
- Jesus alone has immortality.
- Jesus currently dwells in light that we cannot approach.
- No one can see Jesus in His current glory.
- Honor and everlasting power belong to the Lord Jesus!
