The Lord Jesus did something wonderful in leaving heaven (the place where we want to go), and living on the Earth (the place we want to leave), as a human. Therefore, He has the right to demand that we live a certain way. He will respond to us according to how we live. Therefore,

This is a faithful saying:
For if we died with Him,
 We shall also live with Him.
If we endure,
 We shall also reign with Him.
If we deny Him,
 He also will deny us.
If we are faithless,
 He remains faithful;
He cannot deny Himself.
(2 Timothy 2.11–13). 

What will it be? Will you die with Him, enduring whatever comes your way, never denying Him, but always remaining faithful to Him?
