What should preachers say? That might seem obvious, but look around you and see how many speak what the Lord wants spoken. Therefore, Paul told a preacher,

But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine… (Titus 2.1). 

Sound doctrine means healthy teaching. Therefore, preachers, and all Christians, should speak those things that are proper for healthy teaching.
