The house of the Lord is for humans to worship Him, and this included even the prince of the people,

“The prince shall enter by way of the vestibule of the gateway from the outside, and stand by the gatepost. The priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings. He shall worship at the threshold of the gate. Then he shall go out, but the gate shall not be shut until evening” (Ezekiel 46.2). 

Who is this prince? All we need to see right now is the necessity of worship. We have been created to worship. We are worshiping creatures who should only worship the Creator, whether we are princes or peasants.
