Have you sinned? If you have and if you readily acknowledge it, you might be surprised that some people have a hard time admitting to sin. To them, the Holy Spirit says,

If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us (1 John 1.10). 

Denying that we have sinned implies two dangerous things. First, it implies that the Lord has lied, because He declares in the word frequently, that we have sinned. That would mean, second, that the word does not dwell in us.

How shall any Christian survive the Judgment, if he calls the Lord a liar and if that Christian does not have the word in his heart?
