Why did the Holy Spirit include the Book of Second John in the New Testament? Among the many reasons, I have learned how to write to people. Notice especially verse 12,

Having many things to write to you, I did not wish to do so with paper and ink; but I hope to come to you and speak face to face, that our joy may be full (2 John 12). 

In those few words, John showed his compassion, his desire to be with brethren, and he showed joy. Learn to write and speak of biblical things. Do not be embarrassed. Try it.
