As you read the first seven chapters of the Book of Revelation, note all the sounds, especially how often John will tell you that the sound was loud, and sometimes he implies the loudness, simply because of the numbers of beings involved, when suddenly you come upon this passage,

When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour (Revelation 8.1).
