Appropriately, toward the end of the Bible, the Lord Jesus Christ gave us assurance of His Second Coming and of just exactly who He is,

“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last” (Revelation 22.12–13). 

Jesus assures us that He is coming quickly, that His reward is with Him, which means that He will render to everyone according to how they have lived their lives.

He can do all these things, because He is Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. Praise the Lord!
