John baptized Jesus. When Jesus came up out of the water, something amazing happened, that will never happen at a baptism again,

And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3.17). 

Oh to have been present that day! Imagine hearing the voice of God. That means that God’s voice has been heard on the Earth, and it will again when He gives the order to destroy the heavens and the Earth.
