Making war, starting a fight, quarreling, anyone can start, but striving for peace requires extra effort and a special heart. If you strive for peace, Jesus pronounces a blessing upon you,

“Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God.”
(Matthew 5.9) 

The Son of God, Jesus Christ, devoted His life and His death to making peace between God and man. Therefore, the disciple who devotes his life and his death to making peace shall be a son of God.
