01.22.2016 New Testament: Matt 15.35–36
To read the Bible in a year, read Matthew 15.21–39 on January 22, In the year of our Lord 2016
By Don Ruhl
When Jesus fed large numbers of people, He did not throw the food out to them, while they crawled all over one another to get to the food,
So He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. And He took the seven loaves and the fish and gave thanks, broke them and gave them to His disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitude (Matthew 15.35–36).
Jesus would solve this problem with orderliness, making the people sit down, using His disciples to distribute the food, and He would gave thanks. As strong as hunger is, Jesus still observed orderliness and prayer.
