The first preachers for Jesus, gave Him their all, leaving everything behind to follow Him and to learn from Him about life and the kingdom,

When He had gone a little farther from there, He saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the boat mending their nets. And immediately He called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, and went after Him (Mark 1.19–20).

Back in verses 14–15, the text says that Jesus preached in that area. Therefore, these future apostle/preachers, already knew Jesus and knew what He preached. When He called them to follow Him, they were ready, because they believed in Him.

Do you so follow Jesus? Are you His servant, ready to do His biding?
