Why did Jesus come to the Earth? He came to die for our sins. He also came to preach the good news of the arrival of the Kingdom of God. And Jesus entered this world to show us something for which He lived, and for which we must live,

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” (Mark 10.45).

If Jesus came to serve, who then are we to demand that we be served? Your life as a follower of Jesus Christ is to be everything that He was while walking the Earth, for the name “Christian” implies that very thing.

• How often do you serve others?
