04.06.2016 New Testament: Luke 10.38
To read the Bible in a year, read Luke 10.25–42 on April 6, In the year of our Lord 2016

We remember Martha because she mildly rebuked the Lord because He would not tell her sister to help her with serving, but to Martha’s credit, the Bible does say this,
Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house (Luke 10.38).
Martha welcomed Jesus in her house. How many saints do that today? True, she got distracted with serving, but she also hosted the Lord of heaven and Earth in her home.
