Satan does not knowingly fight against himself

The enemies of Jesus witnessed His miraculous work of casting demons out of people. His enemies could not deny what He did; therefore, they attributed the source of His power to Satan, but that did not make sense, as Jesus argued,

“If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? Because you say I cast out demons by Beelzebub” (Luke 11.18).

Would Satan knowingly divide himself? No, for even he knows that unity makes one stronger. That is not to say that he never fights against himself, but that is not his strategy. Evil unites in its battle against the forces of righteousness. However, do not fear, because if you follow Jesus Christ, He stands with you.
