Jesus spoke often of His Father as recorded in the Gospel According to John. Jesus spoke of His love for the Father and of the Father’s love for the Son. John the Baptist also spoke on what the Father thought of the Son,

“The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand” (John 3.35). 

The Father loves the Son, not as a mere feeling alone, but the Father showed that love by giving all things into the hand of His Son. Is that not what love is? Love gives, even if it means giving everything. That is the love of the Father, and that is the love of the Son, who gave His life for us. How do you show your love?
