David knew how to pray to God. He wrote at least 75 of the Psalms, at least those are the ones the Holy Spirit wanted in the Scriptures. First Chronicles 17 records one of his magnificent prayers, in which he said,
“O LORD, there is none like You, nor is there any God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears” (1 Chronicles 17.20).
Truly, think of all that you have read and remember all that you have heard about other gods, and you will not find another one like the one the Bible pictures.
Questions:
- How often do you think on God?
- In what ways do the gods of the world differ from the God of the Bible?
