To read the Bible in a year, read John 16.16–33 on June 7, In the year of our Lord 2016
By Don Ruhl
Jesus told the apostles that He spoke in figurative speech, but at a certain point in His talk, they perceived that He spoke plainly,
His disciples said to Him, “See, now You are speaking plainly, and using no figure of speech! Now we are sure that You know all things, and have no need that anyone should question You. By this we believe that You came forth from God” (John 16.29–30).
Keep searching the Scriptures, seeking to the know the mind of the Lord and you will be like the disciples of Christ, believing that He knows everything and that He came from God.
Questions:
- What do you think of Jesus?
