Be careful whom you reject

To read the Bible in a year, read Acts 7.20–43 on June 25, In the year of our Lord 2016

Do we ever reject one whom God has sent to us to help us? Israel did. Stephen pointed this out in Acts 7. Do you think only Israel had that problem? Of Moses, whom Israel initially rejected, Stephen declared,

“This Moses whom they rejected, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge?’ is the one God sent to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the Angel who appeared to him in the bush. He brought them out, after he had shown wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red Sea, and in the wilderness forty years” (Acts 7.35–36).

Do not repeat the mistake of Israel. You may not like someone at first, but do not reject him, for he might be your help later.
