To read the Bible in a year, read Romans 7 on August 6, In the year of our Lord 2016

Any commandments or prohibitions that the God of Heaven has given man is for our good, but sin, like a Muslim terrorist, uses those good things against us. The Law informed man of covetousness,
But sin, taking opportunity by the commandment, produced in me all manner of evil desire. For apart from the law sin was dead. I was alive once without the law, but when the commandment came, sin revived and I died (Romans 7.8–9).
See what sin does? When God said, Do not covet, He sought to keep us from something evil that will eventually destroy us, but sin used that prohibition to make us think about coveting! Watch out for sin and its deceptions!
