We rejoice in the Lord our God! Why does it thrill us to worship God? Think on the thoughts of Psalm 97,

Zion hears and is glad,
And the daughters of Judah rejoice
Because of Your judgments, O LORD.
For You, LORD, are most high above all the earth;
You are exalted far above all gods.
(Psalm 97.8–9) 

Our God judges. He does what needs to be done. In this way, He shows himself higher than anyone on the Earth, and He proves that He is far exalted above all gods! Praise the Lord.
