Yes, when Jesus lived on the Earth, He had a human body even as you have a human body. After He ascended to Heaven and built the church on Earth, we can still compare His body, the church to our bodies,

For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ (1 Corinthians 12.12). 

His body the church resembles our bodies in that the body has many members, serving various functions. Your hand is not like your eye. One cannot do the work of the other. So in the body of Christ we all have a place, but we have different functions.
