Where shall we start on our journey of knowledge and wisdom? Let us listen to the man who had an abundance of knowledge and wisdom straight from God,

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,
But fools despise wisdom and instruction.
(Proverbs 1.7) 

Knowing that God gives knowledge, for He created our minds and He created all the fields of knowledge, starts us on our journey properly. Fearing God insures that we will use knowledge as He intended it. Fearing God keeps us from affirming ridiculous things. Fearing God keeps us in the true knowledge.
