To read the Bible in a year, read Proverbs 28–29 on September 15, In the year of our Lord 2016
By Don Ruhl
Some people will do anything to get money out of you, including usury (exorbitant interest on loans), and extortion, but they shall not enjoy what they have taken from you, as it is written,
One who increases his possessions by usury and extortion
Gathers it for him who will pity the poor.
(Proverbs 28.8)
See a man or a woman who pities the poor, that merciful person shall some how come into possession of the goods of the extortionist, and the merciful will see that the right people get it.
Questions:
- Do you covet other people’s money?
- Does money rule your life?
- Do you help the poor?
