09.19.2016 – New Testament: 2Co 11.13–15
To read the Bible in a year, read Second Corinthians 11.1–15 on September 19, In the year of our Lord 2016
By Don Ruhl
Be careful about deceiving yourself into believing that no one could ever lead you astray, for such thinking reveals that one truly does not know the power of deception. Think on these words from Paul,
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works (2 Corinthians 11.13–15).
The reaction to this is not to be overly suspicious of everyone, but it does mean to keep your eyes open.
Questions:
- Have you ever been led astray before?
- If so, how did you come back?
