If the Lord made us, He would know how we think and exactly what we think. As He spoke through Ezekiel to Israel,

Then the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said to me, “Speak! Thus says the LORD: Thus you have said, O house of Israel; for I know the things that come into your mind” (Ezekiel 11.5). 

Israel’s history shows that the Lord was right. However, they would not listen to Him, but insisted on the sin that began in their hearts.
