Being a Christian does not mean that life will always go your way, contrary to what many people believe. Truly, we will face difficulties, just as the world does, but we have a different reason for facing those challenges,
Servants, be submissive to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the harsh (1 Peter 2.18).
Our natural self revolts at such an idea, but our spiritual self remembers what Jesus did, that He submitted Himself to brutal people, and saved the world in the process.
Always remember Jesus for whatever you face in life, and you will discover that such memory will help you to face troublesome times.
Questions:
- Why do you live your life?
- Is it about you or the Lord?
- Do you think your way is right or the Lord’s way?
